Monday, December 15, 2014 is the last day for Hondurans and Nicaraguans to re-register for the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program.
That is the deadline that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) stipulated for the closing of re-registrations when it announced the extension of TPS for Honduras and Nicaragua in October 2014.
Individuals who are enrolled in TPS are not eligible to enroll in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents (DAPA) programs for U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
