New website created to verify cases in immigration courts

The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) announced on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, the creation of a website to verify case information in U.S. immigration courts.

The new online information system allows users to receive the latest information on a case after entering a unique Alien Registration Number.

Information available includes upcoming scheduled hearings, information on immigration court and Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) decisions, as well as court and BIA contact information. Also included are the operating statuses of the immigration courts.

The online information system for immigration court cases is available in English and Spanish on the EOIR website.

The new automated information system can be accessed by visiting the following web page: https://portal.eoir.justice.gov/InfoSystem

This new tool supplements the automated immigration court case information hotline at 1-800-898-7180 (TDD 800-828-1120) which remains available.

WARNING

EOIR's automated information systems do not replace the official written notices from the immigration court or the BIA delivered to immigrants or their authorized legal representatives. These documents remain the official documents related to an immigration case and must be complied with.
