Below, I attach some headlines and links to recent U.S. immigration news. This summary has been compiled by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) of which I am a member and which may be of interest to you.
One of the stories I am sharing today is the story titled "Influencer launches campaign for immigration reform: 'No reform, no vote'." of Telemundo News. I am asking every U.S. citizen to "not" heed the advice of the pro-immigrant activist Carlos Eduardo Espina and get out to vote.
Every U.S. citizen should vote in every federal, state and local election in any way he or she sees fit. Your vote is of great importance because it determines who will represent us in federal, state and local government.
The power of your vote is diminished if you stay home and do not vote. Every voter should "carefully" evaluate each candidate for political office for "the totality" of their positions on issues of importance to our community, including the economy, education, security, housing, immigration, etc. Vote for the candidate who can best help on "all" issues of importance to the country.
