Immigration court suspends operations in Philadelphia due to Pope's arrival

Immigration Court will be closed for three days in Philadelphia beginning Thursday, September 24, 2015. They will resume operations on Tuesday, September 29.

The closure is due to the arrival of Pope Francis, who will visit the city of Philadelphia on those dates. Due to the papal visit, several major streets in the city will be closed.

These closures will affect access to the courthouse, located at the Robert Nix Federal Building and Courthouse, 900 Market Street.

The cases that were scheduled for those days will be rescheduled for other dates.
