In recent months, I have been consulted by a large number of people whose cases have been harmed because they previously went to notarios públicos or immigration "consultants" to do their immigration paperwork. Some of the people who consulted with me had valid cases, but because they used a notario who gave them bad advice, there is now nothing that can be done to save their case. Not only that, these people were paid thousands of dollars!
It is very important to emphasize that U.S. law prohibits you from giving legal advice to notaries public and immigration consultants. People who do so are violating the law. In the video I explain how to report them.
