As of tomorrow, November 23, 2010, a new tariff scale comes into effect for immigration proceedings before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Applications and petitions postmarked on or after this date must include the new fee or they will be rejected.
The new scale increases fees by about 10 percent. It does not increase the fee for the Application for Naturalization, which will remain at the same cost of $595.
