Nevada DMV employee faces criminal charges for providing licenses to undocumented immigrants

A Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) employee was charged with bribery for accepting thousands of dollars in exchange for giving driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants.

Following an investigation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other government agencies, Nancy Brown, 28, was arrested on May 5 and faces bribery charges.

An anonymous tip that two individuals had fraudulently received Nevada driver's licenses sparked the investigation. Apparently, the Las Vegas DMV employee was selling authentic driver's licenses to undocumented individuals, who paid between $ 1,700 and $ 3,000 to obtain the document.

According to the complaint, Brown processed 187 fraudulent applications for Nevada driver's licenses.
