U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today announced changes to Form I-90, the application to replace the permanent resident card (green card). The new form is dated "08/10/09" and can be used immediately. The form can be sent electronically or by regular mail.
USCIS will only accept previous versions of Form I-90 until July 28, 2010. After that date, it will reject old forms and return them to applicants with a note indicating that they must resubmit the application with the new version of the form.
