USCIS offices in Houston to be closed due to Hurricane Harvey

Due to the effects of Hurricane Harvey, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Application Support Centers, Field Office and Asylum Office in Houston, Texas will be closed until September 5, 2017. Initially, the closure had been announced until August 29.

If during the closure period you had an appointment for an interview or biometrics submission at the USCIS offices in Houston, Texas, USCIS will automatically schedule a new appointment for you as soon as possible.

If during the closure period you scheduled an appointment through InfoPass or another method at one of these offices, you will need to re-schedule an appointment as soon as possible through InfoPass.
