Today is Election Day in the United States and every U.S. citizen eligible to vote should vote. When we vote, we participate in the democratic process and help elect people who can advocate for our causes.
In California, polling places are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Call the your county election office in California or the California Secretary of State's Voter Assistance Hotline at (800) 345-8683 to find your polling place. In addition, you can send a text message with the word VOTE to GOVOTE (468-683) to find a place to vote.
