Visa Bulletin February 2016

New application and final visa issuance action dates have been published in the February Visa Bulletin.

Remember that the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services changed the process as of October 2015, publishing two tables for each visa preference category, instead of just one as it was before, with the following information:

- Final Action Dates: dates on which immigrant visas can finally be issued.
- Dates for Filing: earliest date a person can file an application for an immigrant visa.

Applicants must check the lists each month to determine when they can begin the process of applying for an immigrant visa through consular channels or adjustment of status.

Below, you can view the "Final Application Action" and "Application Submission" tables of the February 2016 Visa Bulletin for the family-based category and then for the employment-based category processed through the consular channel.
